Intro to Python
Do you ever wonder how a calculator is created using just a few lines of code? Or maybe a simple video game? Become involved in the ever-growing world of computer science! Python is the perfect language to start with – it’s popular, beginner-friendly, and extremely fun. In this course, we’ll dive into the realm of Python and soon you’ll be an expert coder.

Fun Fact!
Python was a hobby project, created during the week of Christmas! In December of 1989, Python’s creator, Guido Van Rossum, wanted a project to keep himself busy. He also decided to name this language after the British comedy, Monty Python.

Meet The Teacher: Claire Yu
Claire Yu is a rising sophomore at Germantown Friends School in Pennsylvania. Her favorite subject is math. She has several years of coding experience and would love to help others discover their passion for coding. Outside of school, she loves playing tennis, drawing, reading books, and traveling.
