SAGE seeks to combat the global gender gap because it is growing. In 2023, the gender gap is still significant, with women only making up 28% of the STEM workforce -- a huge minority. We believe that by providing girls with the resources to be successful, they will become more confident to overcome the negative stereotypes surrounding women in STEM.
